What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Handle approximately 50-75 calls per day in a professional call center environment
- Build and maintain client relationships throughout the claims process
- Focus on client retention and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain high quality score on calls
- Retain and recall SSA and company policies and processes
- Solve problems and maintain confidentiality
- Keep detailed documentation of client interactions in a paperless database system
- Address client concerns and complaints, including those of upset clients
- Identify urgent issues and escalate to managers or directors
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma; Degree preferred; or equivalent combination
- Customer service experience
- Call center experience
- Minimum 40 WPM typing speed
- Proficiency in MS Office Outlook and ability to learn new programs easily
- Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent telephone, communication, and active listening skills
- Reliable and dependable
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and confidential environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision
- Acceptance of new ideas and challenges
- Ability to work well with others as a team
- Ability to work remotely from home as needed
- Knowledge of Social Security Disability Law or other disability or medical background preferred
- Legal assistant, legal secretary, paralegal, or other legal experience preferred
- Fluent in Spanish a plus
