- Assist in preparing legal documents such as purchase and sale agreements, leases, deeds, mortgages, and memoranda of leases.
- Draft, edit, and finalize correspondence, agreements, and other materials.
- Proofread legal documents and correspondence.
- Assist in preparing form documents and creating signature-ready documents.
- Obtain electronic signatures via DocuSign.
- Support attorneys with analysis and research as needed.
- Maintain significant client contact through phone, email, and in person.
- Update and maintain correspondence with clients, attorneys, and other parties.
- Coordinate daily and weekly tasks to ensure timely completion.
- Schedule meetings, consultations, and appointments for attorneys.
- Perform supporting functions such as scanning, emailing documents, maintaining files, and data entry.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a legal assistant in transactional or land use law.
- Understanding of real estate purchase, lease, and lending transactions.
- Exceptional organizational and follow-up skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and with multiple attorneys.
- Resourceful, able to multitask, and problem-solve effectively.
- Excellent writing, editing, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.
- Experience reviewing title reports, title insurance, and surveys is a plus.
- Knowledge of land use law is a plus.
- Professional demeanor, dress, and speech are essential.
- Bachelor's degree required.
