Job Description

A Day in the Life:

Objective: contact clients on new suits, confirm with clients for arbitrations/trials; schedule initial expert depositions; follow up with opposing counsel for discovery responses, authorizations, etc; follow up with courts/judges for entered orders

Tasks

• Prep new suits
• Draft documents for e-filing (pleadings, motions, orders, etc), then e-file, and update expense spreadsheet.
• Answer discovery
• Order and follow up on Complex records
• Send files for medical/bill reviews
• Other misc. occasional tasks:
• Send/receive misc. documents with opposing counsels via Share file
• Docket court dates
• Draft expert disclosures
• Prep arbitration packets
• Prep for trial (subpoenas, jury instructions, motions in limine, etc)
