  For our offices in Leipzig or Poing close to Munich or Krakow in Poland we are looking for you as a Legal Counsel / Contract Manager (m/w/d)

  
  Your Main Activities:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating international distribution and other commercial contracts relevant to the business units, including contract management
  • Drafting of contract templates, terms and conditions and sample clauses
  • Advising the business division and relevant departments on all legal matters, being responsible for both strategic and operational solutions to a wide range of legal and contractual issues
  • Managing and advising strategic projects and negotiate complex issues to achieve business objectives.
  • Managing claims and litigations and coordinating with external legal advisors when necessary
  • Part of the Avnet EMEA legal department and work closely with your national and international colleagues.
  • Assist in the promotion of compliance programs.

  
  Your Profile:

  • Fully qualified lawyer or comparable law degree in another legal system relevant to our business
  • You have 2-5 years of professional experience in general commercial and contract law, ideally gained in an internationally oriented company or law firm
  • You have a positive, client-oriented and problem-solving attitude
  • You are able to work independently and autonomously with a “can-do” approach; adapt quickly to new circumstances and to set your priorities in a new and targeted way
  • You have excellent negotiations and communication skills to address relevant legal and business issues
  • You are a real team player with a sense of humor
  • You are fluent in German and English, any other European language is a plus
