- Req#: 51575461
- Negotiation and drafting of agreements for the distribution of NBCU‘s portfolio of entertainment and news channels, direct-to-consumer offerings and brands across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.
- Negotiation and drafting of advertising, sponsorship and client partnership agreements as required.
- Supplemental support to the content acquisitions, marketing, production and technical operations teams as required.
- Assisting on project work and product launches to support the development of our content brands.
- Keeping up to date with, and advising the business on, key legislative and regulatory developments in the EMEA and Asia Pacific regions, including on copyright, advertising and compliance matters.
- Working closely with NBCU’s specialist IP, Litigation, Privacy and Employment lawyers where needed.
- Is a team player with a can-do attitude;
- Has excellent drafting and communication skills, great accuracy and attention to detail;
- Proactively manages a broad range of open matters and is able to prioritise in order to meet deadlines;
- Has flexibility in their approach and good problem-solving and interpersonal skills;
- Has a willingness to learn, share knowledge and continue to develop their skills.
- Qualified to practise law in the UK (1-6 PQE). Other jurisdictions may be considered.
- Commercial, IP or transactional corporate experience, either in private practice or in-house is desirable, but candidates who can demonstrate solid negotiation experience and an ability to pick up new areas of law quickly will also be considered favourably.
- Computer literate with experience in using Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
- Experience of using contract management systems and DocuSign is desirable.

Job Description
A key permanent full-time role in a friendly, collaborative team reporting to Director, Legal & Business Affairs, and covering a varied workload.
As well as being part of the dynamic Networks & DTC business, you will be part of an international legal community with access to a wide range of in-house training and development opportunities, events and knowledge-sharing resources.
