- Provide expert advice on corporate law, corporate housekeeping, commercial contracts with private and public organizations, financial compliance in MedTech, and Spanish employment law.
- Train and guide team members without a legal background on legal topics.
- Provide training to other Legal Counsels on your areas of expertise, as well as coaching and guidance
- Draft and review agreements in Spanish.
- Manage legal disputes, including interactions with external parties.
- Review and advise on company policies and procedures, focusing on financial compliance in MedTech (e.g., financial transparency, anti-fraud regulations, and sunshine acts).
- University Law degree (LL.M.), preferably in European Law
- A least 7 years of relevant experience as a legal professional in a law firm or multinational company
- Experience working in an international environment
- Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English, both written and spoken
- Leadership experience or strong interest in coaching and developing team members

- Admitted to the Bar in a European Country

We are seeking a confident and communicative Spanish-speaking Legal Counsel. In this exciting and varied role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of legal areas relevant to our Dutch organization and its 17 European legal entities, with a focus on the Spanish Branch. You will focus on high-level corporate law and housekeeping, commercial law, employment law, and collaborate with our HPC compliance team on financial transparency and anti-fraud regulations.
You will join a collaborative working culture with the highest moral integrity, providing legal advice to multiple internal clients, including leadership based in our Amersfoort office, our Spanish Sales team in the field, and the Legal Counsels at our Global Headquarters in California. Success in this role requires excellent judgment, strong interpersonal skills to inspire confidence at all levels, flexibility to explore processes still in development, and affinity with coaching.
This position is based in our European Headquarters in Amersfoort (NL) and reports to the Director Legal, who leads our international Legal team of five.
