- Supporting Government Relations team members on key projects and deliverables
- Review and analysis of laws and pending legislation, with a focus on Environmental Policy
- Assist with planning and ad hoc projects
- Apply program management skills in tracking various initiatives
- Hiring Salary Range Posted: $22.50 - $25.00 / hour
- Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data
- In addition to the salary, this position may be eligible for bonuses and incentive plans, as applicable.
- Currently enrolled at a college or university and working towards a Master’s degree in Law or Public Policy.
- Required to work independently and manage time to meet goals.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills; both oral and written.
- Strong organizational, time management and problem solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams.
- Experience managing multiple assignments.
- Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
- Experience with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, MS Word, Outlook and MS Teams.
- Knowledge of the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of this particular field of specialization.

Legal Internship
Duration: June-September 2024
Location: Modesto, CA

This position will be based in the location specified in the job posting and requires working on-site with no telecommuting option. You will be expected to live within a commutable distance.
The Legal Intern will support project based deliverables providing cross functional exposure and diverse experiences to enhance their skills and knowledge in their field of study.

The Legal department is searching for appropriate candidates to fill 10 week positions. These Intern positions require strong analytical, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
