What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Independently process incoming electronic documents and route them to appropriate files
- Manage incoming and outgoing agency faxes and mail, including date-stamping and scanning documents
- Organize and examine records related to public records requests, ensuring accuracy and responsiveness
- Prepare documents for scanning or digital reproduction and reassemble them in their original order
- Report issues related to missing or damaged documents
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School graduation or GED and two (2) years of clerical or administrative experience, or
- High School graduation or GED and one (1) year of legal office experience, or
- An AA degree and one (1) year of clerical or administrative experience, or
- A bachelor's degree in any field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience operating standard office equipment, including scanners and copiers
- Exceptional keyboarding skills and the ability to perform research
- Ability to assist customers with inquiries, complaints, or problems
- Experience managing multiple tasks and prioritizing workload effectively
- Familiarity with workplace safety laws and practices
