Manage the execution, review, processing and tracking of legal documents and ensure proper execution of all strategic investments.
Provides key Corporate Secretarial support to the M&A Committee, Citi Ventures Inc. and Pro Bono Committee (e.g., taking meeting minutes, filing / renewing organizational documents, CLEMs attestations on behalf of the LEL, record keeping for M&A transactions, strategic investments)
Operates the Resolution and Recovery book of work, including liaising with the Heads of Legal for the 5 Business Lines and working with Corp M&A and PMO to deliver required regulatory responses
Manages full project cycle for special projects
Interfaces with outside counsel for transaction support as well as Pro Bono Legal Service Organizations
Conducts due diligence
- 5-8 years of relevant industry experience, preferably with some experience working in an in-house legal role within financial services
- Ability to manage complex documentation with organization and detail
- Must possess excellent interpersonal and project management skills, as well as the ability to interact and communicate effectively with Senior management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
- In-depth knowledge of legal customs and practices
- Knowledge and understanding of the financial services industry
- Bachelors/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
The Legal Support Officer is an intermediate level, non-attorney role, responsible for providing legal support to M&A and Strategic Investments Legal, which resides within Enterprise, Advisory, Client and ICRM Team.
The Legal Support Officer will provide legal support activities related to legal operations for M&A and Strategic Investment Legal teams, supporting 9 senior lawyers who are responsible for a wide variety of activities, including Global Pro Bono projects, Resolution and Recovery submissions to US regulators, and special projects.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$79,120.00 - $118,680.00
