Job Description

- Provide technical expertise toward the Mechanical aspects of capital projects including design, construction, startup, and continuous improvement.
- Prepare or review equipment specifications.
- Prepare or review construction bid packages.
- Prepare or review Maintenance documents.
- Support in set-up of Maintenance spare parts
- Work closely with Maintenance to develop maintenance procedures and strategies that improve long term reliability of manufacturing systems
- Support facility checkout, commissioning, and startup.
- Interface with overall project management and managers to ensure project objectives are met.
- Develop / maintain equipment documentation and files to support projects.
- Works directly with outside vendors / consultants to specify appropriate equipment.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (preferred).
- 5+ years of demonstrated mechanical engineering, design, and construction experience in an industrial environment.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD or Microstation.
- Knowledge of or experience with SAP a plus.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Experience delivering mechanical designs, and process piping designs.
- Experience developing and reviewing process flow diagrams and P&IDs.
- Ability to simultaneously organize, and successfully execute, multiple project responsibilities concurrently.
- Ability to work on-site in an industrial facility with flexibility to work additional and varied hours as dictated by the demands of the business.

Job Description
As the Mechanical Engineer, you will serve as a Mechanical engineering resource for the Engineering department and will work closely with Engineering leadership as well as Maintenance department. The successful candidate needs to have a broad understanding of mechanical equipment and complex mechanical systems that will allow the candidate assist in the successful completion of large capital projects.
