- Conduct comprehensive investigations of multi-vehicle auto accidents, gathering crucial information through recorded statements, review of police reports, and examination of damage photos to establish liability for the loss
- Conduct in-depth research of policy details to determine the application of coverage and provide customers with clear explanations of their policy, coverages, and the implications for their claim
- Negotiate claim settlements in accordance with business unit standard methodologies, ensuring fair outcomes and satisfactory resolutions
- Prioritize incoming claims daily, balancing the needs of existing pending files to maintain timely and efficient claim handling
- Foster ongoing communication with internal and external customers, including agents, vendors, and third parties, to ensure customer expectations are consistently met throughout the lifecycle of the claim
- Actively participate in daily meetings and trainings, utilizing audio and video platforms to stay informed and enhance professional development
- As a condition of employment, you are expected to obtain an adjuster’s license in multiple markets
- All required licenses will need to be obtained within 60 days of hire
- You must maintain all licensing required for your role. This includes any continuing education and/or other state-affiliated requirements for licensing renewal
- This role offers a sign on bonus of $1,000 if you have an active adjuster license in TX, FL, or your resident state (current employees or candidates who have previously worked for and are seeking to be rehired at Allstate and its family of companies are not eligible for this sign-on bonus)
- Monday through Friday working hours can be anywhere between 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM at our 1414 South Tryon Street - Charlotte, NC 28203 location.
- In-person training and onboarding will occur in our Charlotte office for approximately the first three months of your employment; with flexibility to work-from-home occasionally during the initial virtual training classes.
- Once you have successfully completed onboarding and training, you will have the option to work remote occasionally and eventually full-time if qualified.
- Also, when onboarding and training are completed, we will work with you to develop a work schedule that meets both personal and business needs.
- A dedicated workspace that is private and free from distractions
- A minimum internet bandwidth of 50 MB down/5 MB up
- Appropriate work surface and seating
- A technology bundle that includes all equipment needed to perform your work from home (laptop, monitors, headset, keyboard, mouse)
- Connectivity reimbursement of $80 per month to offset some of the cost of internet
- High School Diploma/GED or higher
- Previous customer service experience in a fast paced, high volume work environment
- Strong knowledge of insurance principles, policies, and claim procedures
- Excellent investigation skills to gather and analyze information effectively
- Analytical and critical thinking abilities to assess liability and damages accurately
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to interact with various stakeholders
- Negotiation and conflict resolution skills to reach fair settlement agreements
- Meticulous attention to detail to review documents and identify relevant facts
- Effective time management and organization to handle multiple claims simultaneously
- Customer centric mindset
- Familiarity with legal principles and processes related to liability claims

Compensation offered for this role is $47,500 - $50,000 and is based on experience and qualifications.
The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
