Our incredible Tecumseh branch is looking for their next full-time Librarian to focus on outreach to the community and programs for all ages. Our librarians provide a broad range of services at the branch including assisting patrons with checking materials in and out, creating the fun and interactive displays throughout the branch, and creating and executing programs on a variety of topics.

This is a full-time, 40 hour per week position and will be required to work a mix of day, evening and weekend hours. These hours include rotating every other Saturday and one evening per week.

• Anticipated compensation range to be $40K - $50K, dependent on comparable and related experience

• Proven experience (and excitement) working with all ages - children, teens, adults, and seniors
• Versatility - someone who is willing and able to learn new skills, jump in and help when they see a need
• Someone who creates a positive work environment and loves working as a team
• Someone who is intentionally community focused; we rely on our community just like they rely on us

• Bachelor's Degree (it doesn't have to be focused around library science) and two (2) years of library operations experience; OR
• An equivalent combination of training and experience
• State of Indiana Public Librarian Certification (need to begin with one year of employment)*
• Valid Driver's License
