Job Description
- Req#: req5156
- Provides reference service (in person, online, phone or email) for students, faculty, administrators and the general public.
- Stays abreast of trends in instructional technologies, research support tools, and online publishing and scholarship.
- Contributes to the development, curation, and assessment digital resources to support the College’s instructional programs.
- Works closely with faculty, other librarians, and staff to select and incorporate digital resources for use instruction.
- Takes an active role in supporting the Libraries’ contributions to student success initiatives, with a particular focus on open educational resources (OERs) and affordable course materials.
- Bibliographic instruction (library instruction, by class or for individuals).
- Performs collection development.
- Liaison with campus departments to determine materials needed to support curriculum.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
