Job Description

- Provides patrons with advanced reference, media advisory, technology assistance and general public service
- Plans and presents a variety of programs
- Develops and maintains selected areas of the collection
- Participates in the creation of displays and other means of promoting the collection.
- Assists with community outreach through programs and services
- Supports other colleagues’ areas of specialty (e.g. teen, inclusive services, technology programming, advisory services, etc.) through collaboration and participation
- Master’s degree in Library Science from an ALA-accredited institution
- Two years of experience working in a public library
- Strong public service and technology skills
- $50,427-52,000 annual
- 37.5 hours per week including regular nights and weekends on rotation
