Job Description
- Req#: 15834
- Interview, hire, train and supervise a team of student workers
- Prepare and maintain schedules for Circulation Desk student workers
- Process interlibrary loan requests
- Update materials in the Reserve Collection
- Conduct Law Library tours for incoming law students
- Assist library users with directional questions and basic issues regarding library technology
- Serve as the card access administrator for the Law School
- Manage lighting controls and door security throughout the law center
- Submit work orders regarding Law Library maintenance and housekeeping issues
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Reference Librarian and the Director of the Law Library.
- Performs all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission
- Ability to comply with University policies
- Maintains regular and punctual attendance
What We Are Looking For
The Baylor University Law Library is looking for a Library Specialist to help oversee the operation of the Law Library Circulation Desk and Reserve Collection.
An associates degree and less than 1 year of experience is required. A bachelors degree with 2 years of experience is preferred. An active Christian faith is required.Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
