Open Until Filled - Assists library media teacher in the daily operation of the school library.
- Monitors library and assists patrons in use of library and equipment.
- Performs a variety of library clerical tasks such as circulation of materials and assistance with online research.
- Maintains records on media center uses and prepares reports.
- Greets visitors, answers telephone, takes messages.
- Assists in the annual inventory of books and materials.
- Receives and processes materials/equipment orders.
- Assists with data entry in various computer applications.
- Performs other professional tasks as assigned.
- Requires a high school diploma or GED.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 25 lbs.
- At least three years of work experience in an office environment involving public contact (for external candidates only).
- Ability to operate and perform tasks on standard office equipment; computers, fax, telephone, printers, copiers, etc.
- Good communication and human relation skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, employees and the general public.

Location: Hampton HS (for immediate hire)
Phoebus HS (for SY 24/25)Supervisor: Building Principal Employment Period: 10 months; 191 days Employment Status: Full-time Pay Grade: H-08 Hiring Range: $14.83 -- $19.08 hour Start Date: As soon as possible
