      Licensed Associate Benefit Advisor-Seasonal

      eHealth is growing and looking for career-driven, motivated individuals to join us for a seasonal opportunity. At eHealth, you will help Medicare beneficiaries navigate one of the most important purchasing decisions of their life as they select their health insurance coverage. We partner with top national and regional health insurance companies, so you will have the ability to ensure your customers get the right coverage for their situation.

      As an Associate Benefit Advisor you will take inbound calls, listen, consult, and advise clients over the phone on their Medicare health insurance options specific to the assigned carrier. You may also be responsible for outbound follow-up. Measures of success will be performance-based including conversion, applications, member retention and compliance.

      This is a full time seasonal role that will end on December 8th.

      Required Qualifications:

      • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills

      • Must possess an active resident state health insurance license

      • Availability to work a shift between 6:00AM - 7:00PM PST Monday through Friday. Must also be available to work overtime, weekends and holidays

      • High level of integrity and customer focus

      • High speed hardwired home internet connection with 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload

      • Comfortable with desktop computers, including knowledge of Office applications and web browsing

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Associate's or Bachelor's degree

      • Previous sales or contact center experience with the understanding that this role will require you to meet or exceed daily and monthly sales goals, achieve

      • Prior experience with CMS Rules and Regulations and/or other state or federal healthcare programs, a plus.

      The base pay range reflects the anticipated pay range for this position. The actual base pay offered will depend on various factors including individual skills, experience, performance, qualifications, the department budget, and the location where work is performed. Base pay is one component of eHealth’s total rewards package, which also includes a monthly commission-based incentive plan, plus an array of benefits designed to support employees’ personal and professional wellness.
