      Job Requirements:
      • Knowledge of Customs Entry requirements
      • Experience in FCL & LCL ocean cargo logistics and documentation.
      • Experience with MS work, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
      • Team-building skills and ability to work independently
      • Position requires working directly with customs, other government agencies, carriers, customers, vendors and all related parties concerning the import process.
      • Freight Forwarding industry experience minimum 5 years
      • Ability to work in a demanding, high-pressure environment with deadlines

      Position duties and responsibilities:

      • Adhere to, train and advise team members in areas of Customs Brokerage Regulations.
      • Maintain complete regulatory compliance with any related government agencies such as local, US domestic and applicable foreign agencies, and verify that all government and agency compliance and regulatory requirements are properly addressed.
      • Document review and assessment of accuracy.
      • Follow – up on documentation discrepancy issues until a resolution is met.
      • Must maintain account information according to client requirements, change in contact, special instructions and any other additional or revised specific requirements.
      • Negotiate rates with carriers; prepare and submit quotations to prospective accounts on a daily basis.
      • Punctual follow up to all inquiries, including RFI's, RFQ's and all other customer, agent and MAO partner office inquiries
      • File and maintain rates, and post internally in accordance with FMC guidelines
      • Daily interactions and departmental performance reporting to local management.
      • Verify and monitor timely handling of all departmental accounts payable and receivable matters.
      • Monitor team performance and training needs.
