      Job Overview

      We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our Member Loyalty Team as Seasonal Licensed Member Advocates. In this role, you will be responsible for taking customers through the post-enrollment journey, answering both inbound and outbound customer service calls fluidly, handling a high volume of calls, helping clients enroll in a Medicare Advantage plan if needed and cross-selling additional products while providing exceptional support to enhance member satisfaction and retention to eHealth. This is a seasonal opportunity that will start on 9-9-24 and end on 12-8-24.

      What you will do:

      • Handle inbound customer service calls from existing members, addressing questions about their plans, resolving issues between carrier and member, and providing information about our complimentary services.
      • Verify enrollment of new clients and complete post-enrollment activities to assist customers in their newly enrolled plans.
      • Identify and resolve member issues efficiently and effectively, ensuring a positive experience.
      • Assist members with questions related to their current plan, and explain the benefits included in their plan and how to use them.
      • Sell new Medicare Advantage plan, if needed.
      • Cross-sell additional products to existing clients.
      • Answer outbound calls from a dialer and complete post-enrollment activities along with helping members utilize the plan benefits included in their plans.
      • Accurately use the on-screen script and tools provided to help find client information, answer questions about our member’s plans, and efficiently document notes and outcomes of the interaction.

      What you will bring:

      • Must hold a resident state health insurance license.
      • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
      • High School diploma or equivalent.
      • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a call center or similar environment.
      • Ability to handle high call volumes and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
      • Proficiency in using a dialer and other computer applications.
      • High-speed hardwired home internet connection with 50 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.
      • High level of integrity and customer focus
      • Comfortable with desktop computers, including knowledge of Office applications and web browsing.
      • Previous sales experience is a plus.

      The base pay range reflects the anticipated pay range for this position. The actual base pay offered will depend on various factors including individual skills, experience, performance, qualifications, the department budget, and the location where work is performed. Base pay is one component of eHealth’s total rewards package, which also includes a monthly commission-based incentive plan, plus an array of benefits designed to support employees’ personal and professional wellness.
