- The most advanced cancer, heart and vascular, orthopedic & surgery programs in the Panhandle
- Function under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner.
- Provide patient care collaboratively with the RN.
- Provide care that displays respect for the patient’s rights, dignity, values, confidentiality and expressed needs.
- Be adaptable, using evidenced based practice and information technologies while maintaining focus on providing comfort, relieving pain and alleviating anxiety.
- Perform tasks in compliance with department and policies and procedures, and within educational preparation as well as the Florida Nurse Practice Act.

- High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., certificate of high school equivalency)
- No previous experience is required.
- Two (2) to five (5) years of job-related experience.
- Current LPN License in the State of Florida.
- Must have a current Basic Life Behavioral Criteria: Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification from an accredited instructor from the American Heart Association (AHA) and/or other specialized life support requirements designated by work area.
- Florida LPN intravenous (IV) therapy certification.

Tallahassee Memorial Behavioral Health Center offers the most comprehensive psychiatric mental health services and treatments in North Florida, South Georgia and Southeastern Alabama. Our specially-trained, interdisciplinary team provides support for substance abuse and mental health disorders for adults and children across our region. Whether in an inpatient or outpatient capacity, we work collaboratively with our hospital and service partners to provide holistic treatment to meet both the mental and physical health needs of our patients.
