      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Provide direct patient care according to unit-specific competencies and hospital policies
      - Perform therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, such as catheterization and dressing changes
      - Administer medications, including controlled substances, by various routes except IV push
      - Maintain accurate and complete medical records using documentation tools and procedures
      - Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, families, and healthcare team members

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing with a current Alabama LPN license or Multi-State LPN License
      - Compliance with hospital policies and procedures, including confidentiality requirements
      - Ability to demonstrate CPR according to American Heart Association standards
      - Completion of approved IV Therapy and NG insertion courses for related procedures
      - Regular and prompt attendance with the ability to work defined schedules and overtime as required

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in a healthcare setting providing direct patient care
      - Familiarity with hospital information systems and documentation protocols
      - Knowledge of infection control and safety standards in healthcare
      - Strong customer service skills in a healthcare environment
