      Who We Are

      We are a large and growing emergency and specialty hospital located in beautifulPortland, Maine. Our facility is home to board-certified experts inSurgery, Emergency&Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Oncology, Cardiology, and Dermatology.

      What You'll Do

      As anEmergency&Critical Care Technician, you'll work directly with our ER doctors and support team to deliver excellent patient care in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting. Your ability to multitask, stay calm under pressure, and act as a patient advocate is key to our mission.


      In this role, you will:

      • Provide triage and stabilize incoming patients
      • Administer IV, IM, SQ, and PO medications
      • Assist with diagnostics such asradiographs, bloodwork, and ECGs
      • Monitor patients in ICU or undergoing treatments/procedures
      • Manage fluid therapy and anesthesia monitoring as needed
      • Communicate effectively with doctors, teammates, and clients
      • Maintain detailedmedical records and treatment sheets
      • Support patient admissions, discharges, and client education
      • Assist in emergency procedures and critical care support

      Anticipated Schedule
      This is afull-time position

      • Saturday/Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday:8:00 AM - 6:00 PM,final schedule to be discussed during interview process
      • Someholidays are required

      Compensation

      • Startingat $28/hr, commensurate with experience

      Requirements

      • Licensed or certified Veterinary Technician(CVT, LVT, RVT)
      • Previous emergency or critical care experience preferred, but not required
      • Strong communication and organizational skills
      • A calm, confident presence in high-pressure situations
      • A desire to learn, collaborate, and contribute to a meaningful mission
