      Temporary Full-Time , Eighteen (18) Month Contract


      Work Arrangements: This is a hybrid role. You will work in our office in Waterloo, ON a minimum of two (2) assigned, consecutive days every other week, plus a fifth (5th) assigned day per month. You are welcome to work from the office more than the minimum requirement and there may be some roles that are required to work in our office more than the minimum requirement.

      We are looking for a Life Administrator to join our team! This is a great opportunity for someone with superior critical thinking ability, effective client service skills and a sound knowledge of life insurance products. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate exceptional time management and organizational skills.

      What you will be doing:

      • Provide outstanding client service to both internal and external clients
      • Verify that all pertinent information and requirements have been met prior to completing requests
      • Update and maintain individual life insurance policies including but not limited to the following:
        • Bank account updates
        • Policy loans
        • Dividend & cash withdrawals
        • Inquiries relating to policy values
        • Fund transfers and fund reallocations
        • Terminations
        • Name, beneficiary & ownership changes
      • Accurately and efficiently apply premium & loan payments
      • Continually assess for potential process improvements & make recommendations for efficiencies
      • Respond to inquiries from policyholders & advisors while presenting a positive Company image



      What you will bring:

      • You thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment with the ability to manage daily fluctuations in work volumes & adapt to change in direction
      • Sound knowledge of Windows/Office and web-based applications
      • Demonstrated critical thinking abilities
      • Effective and professional communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to tailor your message effectively to the audience, whether an internal or external client
      • Proven ability to learn and apply information quickly
      • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
      • Knowledge of life insurance products and/or LOMA designations are an asset
      • French language skills are an asset; specifically, an ability to read and provide written correspondence in French
