What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and maintain effective customer relations within the assigned territory
- Implement sales strategies to meet targets and expand business
- Provide technical information and recommendations for customer applications
- Introduce new products and services to customers
- Manage pricing and profitability within the territory
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in the sciences; M.S. or PhD preferred
- 5+ years of sales experience in the research laboratory industry or lab experience
- Strong knowledge in proteomics, genomics, gene expression, and tissue culture
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, written communication, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and the internet

- Experience in managing customer relationships in a scientific setting
- Familiarity with laboratory sales processes and strategies
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
