      We are looking for a Property Adjuster to join our team in order to provide stationary telephone adjusting services with a key focus on quality and customer service. Regions serviced include Canada and the United States.

      What you'll do:

      The role is focused on servicing Lifestyle product claims while adhering to the protocols established. As part of this job you will:

      • Review and analyze policies, appraisals and technical reports to assess the value of a claim and negotiate and settle it accordingly

      • Carry an active pending of Lifestyle Property claims

      • Effectively advise and counsel the customer on Specialty product knowledge and provide timely and outstanding customer service

      • Operate within designated authority, making independent decisions

      • Maintain detailed file records according to all outlined protocols

      • Participate in projects and provide feedback into processes on an ongoing basis

      • Collaborate with other regional claims teams


      What you'll bring:

      • Minimum 1-2 years claims adjusting experience, property and/or auto

      • Atlantic licensing preferred

      • Demonstrate a passion for Lifestyle claims

      It is considered an asset if you:

      • Bilingual English & French

      • Have completed or are working towards completion of the Insurance Institute Program (CIP / FCIP)

      • Have a post-secondary diploma or degree

      • Have experience handling claims for specialty products including travel trailers and watercraft, seasonal dwellings
