- Must own proper tools to preform necessary repairs
- Welding experience
- Experience reading blueprints and following fabrication procedures
- Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure and able to calculate figures such as percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Able to grind and use basic cutting tools and drills.
- Able to use and read measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, bore gages, steel rules, and conversion charts.
- Ability to operate a crane, forklift and other equipment as needed
- Organizational ability and confidence to work independently
- Good hands-on mechanical aptitude and ability.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Must be available to work overtime as needed
- Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
- Safely apply basic machine operations such as: build & bore, build & grind, knurling, hole drilling, part marking, and basic threads
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and blue prints
- Communication of repair options to customers, ordering correct parts, and completing the repair in an efficient, timely manner in order to meet department goals and organizational objectives
- Removes and install parts, disassembles and assembles components to CAT specifications
- Removes and replace machine components utilizing required technical data and procedures in order to repair equipment to required standards
- Prepares and completes all job-related documents, writes service reports, orders parts, and maintains clear customer records; in addition, accesses databases required to complete job
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Other duties as assigned
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Associates degree or certificate from technical school
- Pay Type Hourly
- Min Hiring Rate $27.00
- Max Hiring Rate $45.00

Mustang Cat is urgently hiring for a Line Bore Technician.
As a Line Bore Technician, your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to; welding, line boring, MIG welding, arc gauging, and repairs related to undercarriage, components, EQ bars, linkage, etc. with a specific focus in build & bore.
