- Previous experience in a professional kitchen environment
- Strong desire to learn and develop culinary skills
- Ability to collaborate with the culinary leadership team to create seasonal menus
- Develop knowledge and skills in various cooking procedures and methods
- Enhance your skills in using knives and kitchen equipment
- Recreate menu items for the restaurant and banquets
- Ensure consistency in cooking and presentation
- Minimize food waste through cross-utilization
- Set up workstations with necessary ingredients and equipment
- Prepare ingredients (chopping, peeling, cutting)
- Follow standard kitchen sanitization practices
- Properly store food and other items
- Maintain the quality of ingredients
- Active Food Handler’s certification or ability to obtain one
- Willingness to work various shifts, including day/night and weekends
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
- Physical stamina to be on your feet for long periods and lift at least 50 pounds
- Desire to exceed expectations
- Energetic personality
