      As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen, being responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to ensure our guests have a memorable dining experience. This position requires a fast-paced individual who can work efficiently while maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. In this role, you will collaborate with other kitchen staff to deliver exceptional meals. You will be responsible for ensuring that every dish is prepared to specifications and presented to perfection, contributing to the overall success of our restaurant.       Responsibilities

      • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications
      • Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as griddles, grills, and/or deep fryers
      • Multitask by cooking multiple orders at once, ensuring that all items are prepared in accordance with guest instructions
      • Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion
      • Manage prep work and ensure the kitchen is stocked with all necessary ingredients
      • Monitor food freshness and quality, disposing of any expired items
      • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstation
      • Collaborate with kitchen staff to enhance service efficiency and teamwork
      • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe kitchen environment
      • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests
      • Perform other related duties as assigned

      Education

      • High school diploma or equivalent required
      • Culinary school diploma a plus

      Experience

      • Proven cooking experience, including experience as a Line Cook, Restaurant Cook, or Prep Cook preferred

      Skills

      • Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
      • Manual dexterity to be able to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils and equipment
      • Ability to work quickly and efficiently while executing tasks with accuracy
      • Familiar with industry best practices in health, safety, and sanitation
      • Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment and respond with a sense of urgency
      • Ability to work well as part of a team

      Work Environment

      • Ability to stand exposure to extreme heat, steam, and cold present in a kitchen environment
      • Ability to stand and work in a kitchen for prolonged periods of time
      • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

      • $15 - $21 per hour
