- Cook high-volume meals including breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
- Prepare food following recipes and measuring ingredients accurately.
- Operate grill, flat top, and deep fryer to prepare eggs, burgers, hot dogs, and Philly Cheese Steaks.
- Perform food prep tasks between meal services.
- Ensure food is labeled correctly, contributing to 10% of your tasks.
- Engage in 60% prep work and 30% cooking during your shift.
- 2+ years of experience in volume cooking.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Experience in measuring, cutting, and following recipes.
- Proficiency in food prep and line cooking.
- Experience in hotel, restaurant, or country club settings is a plus.
- Food Safe Serve Qualified/ServSafe Certification preferred but not required.

Work Environment
Work in the hospital's Nutritional Services department with flexible hours ranging from 6am-2pm or 9am-6pm. Open availability is required, including working every other weekend.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, District of Columbia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
