Job Description

- Perform various duties in laundry including folding, spreading sheets, feeding sheets, filling linen carts, delivers linen to floors
- Will keep equipment and laundry area clean
- Will follow all clean linen procedures including drying, ironing, folding and storing all laundry in linen closets and designated areas by designated persons
- Will support Environmental Services as delegated
- Perform other duties as required.
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Some experience in healthcare.
Job Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Linen Services Supervisor, the Linen Services Associate are to keep resident/patient linens clean and washed in a manner, which will preserve color and fabric, and avoid contamination and spreading of bacteria. They will also keep linens and clothing washed, dried, ironed, folded and stored in designate areas on a daily basis, as well as to keep laundry area and equipment clean.Core Job Responsibilities
