- Manage and administer Linux systems in a secure environment
- Perform on-site SIPR system installations and configurations
- Execute and maintain backup, restore, and rollback procedures in coordination with DISA
- Create and manage cron jobs and automate scheduled tasks
- Handle packaging/unpacking tar files and perform manual software installations
- Develop and troubleshoot scripts in Bash, Java, and Python
- Perform software installations, troubleshoot runtime errors, and engage with developers as necessary
- Manage and validate keystores during secure deployments
- Create and run scripts to update stored procedures, tables, and triggers
- Execute and manage data cleanup scripts and maintenance tasks
- Support database deployment automation via install packages
- Develop, maintain, and execute build scripts
- Integrate secure software delivery practices
- Manage Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) and related release documentation
- Experience with Git and ClearCase
- Create and manage branches in ClearCase
- Ensure versioning integrity and traceability across software releases
- Experience working in DoD or secure government environments
- Familiarity with DISA STIGs, RMF, or similar cybersecurity standards
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with developers, DBAs, and security teams

We are seeking an exceptional Linux System Administrator / DevOps Engineer in support of the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) Integrated Data Environment & Global Transportation Network Convergence (IGC) Program. IGC provides a single place for access to common data, business services and information on material asset visibility and cohesive, integrated data services for the management of supply, distribution, and logistics to the combatant commands, military services, and other federal agencies. This is an outstanding opportunity to be a key member of a dynamic team developing innovative logistics solutions to sustain warfighter readiness and lethality.Requirements
