      Job Title Liquidity Management

      Corporate Title Assistant Vice President

      Overview

      As a Specialist on the Liquidity Management (LM) team, you will provide subject matter expertise, to functional colleagues and internal stakeholders, on specific functional subject areas/regulations (e.g., stress testing methodologies and scenario analysis, Regulation YY) for the effective management of CUSO liquidity positions, in line with the Bank’s policies and regulatory requirements. You will take ownership of product methodologies for internal liquidity stress testing (ILST) along with interpretations of regulatory requirements (US LCR and US NSFR). You will assist the team in developing responses to regulatory related examinations. You will be responsible for developing best practice approaches and building subject matter capability within the Function, in response to the changing regulatory landscape. You will manage relationships with relevant stakeholders and collaborate with colleagues within/across functions to support the execution of the Business strategy and achievement of the Bank/Division objectives.

      What You’ll Do

      • Support the development, enhancement, and maintenance and review of methodologies for internal liquidity stress test (ILST)

      • Actively participate in discussions with Liquidity Risk Management and Model Risk Management functions in documenting and validating risk drivers

      • Perform detailed product-specific analysis to support stress testing assumptions which will require strong collaboration and engagement with key stakeholders across Treasury, Business, and Risk functions

      • Assessing the liquidity impacts related to new products and businesses

      • Liaise with the Group teams across US and Europe to ensure consistency in standards and Liquidity practices

      • Manage daily liquidity positions for US entities inclusive of understanding and managing drivers of liquidity needs across businesses/products

      Skills You’ll Need

      • Moderate relevant experience in the financial services/banking industry

      • Relevant experience in Liquidity Management or Treasury

      • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or related fields

      Skills That Will Help You Excel

      • Strong communication skills – both verbal and written including diplomacy and ability to influence others

      • Strong analytical skills – ability to synthesize and present data in consumable formats and present to senior management

      • Willingness to take ownership and execute on deliverables

      • Understanding of key banking regulations (e.g., Dodd-Frank, Regulation YY, etc.)

      • Ability to execute against tight deadlines and remain agile to evolving requirements

      Expectations

      It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

      The salary range for this position in New York City is $100,000 to $ 142,250. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
