What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Defend litigation in a designated area of California
- Handle all assigned litigation and other legal matters for the employer and its policyholders
- Prepare motions, pleadings, and conduct depositions
- Maintain independent professional judgment required of a lawyer
- Handle commercial property, coverage disputes, and personal injury cases

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Licensed to practice law in California
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- 5+ years of insurance defense litigation experience
- Trial experience preferred
- Able to handle high-value case load with little to no supervision

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior in-house experience
- CPCU or insurance-related designation
- Admitted to or eligible for admission to federal court
