  Litigation Counsel

  What you can expect

  Joining this team, you will manage active litigation matters spanning multiple areas of law in the United States and around the world. This includes all aspects of pre-litigation disputes, including contract and business-to-business related matters. You will also partner with business units across the company to conduct fact investigations and prepare discovery-related responses for litigation and regulatory engagements. Internally, you will report key updates to stakeholders on matters impacting their business. While externally, you will work with outside counsel to navigate to favorable solutions in litigation matters.

  About the Team

  Zoom is looking for a Litigation Counsel to join our talented Legal team; we're looking for a self-starter, problem solver, and strategic thinker. You will work cross-functionally to partner with various business units and teams within Legal to advance Zoom’s business objectives while balancing litigation risk.

  What we’re looking for

  • 6+ years combined experience in a law firm, in-house, or government attorney role

  • Possess experience in complex commercial litigation is essential; familiarity with areas like class actions, competition, regulatory investigations, intellectual property, securities, or privacy

  • Demonstrate experience providing practical, actionable advice that balances legal risk and business impact in a dynamic and fast-moving environment

  • Drive to take ownership of projects and tasks, working independently to manage matters from start to finish

  • Show practical, strategic, and results-oriented approach to problem solving while demonstrating a clear work ethic and sense of accountability, integrity, interpersonal, and communication skills

  • Hold a JD from an accredited law school and bar admission in good standing

  Salary Range or On Target Earnings:

  Minimum:

  $124,000.00

  Maximum:

  $271,200.00

  In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

  Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

  We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
