      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Provide independent support services to Assistant United States Attorneys (AUSAs)
      - Draft and file motions, subpoenas, and discovery documents, and conduct legal research
      - Maintain and organize voluminous hard copy and electronic records related to investigations and litigation
      - Conduct detailed reviews and analyses of information, ensuring records are up-to-date
      - Assist with the USAO's Criminal Division in matters involving parallel civil and criminal actions

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Undergraduate or Associate's Degree or Paralegal Certificate with 3 or more years of legal support and trial experience
      - Familiarity with medical record reviews, coding, and billing practices is helpful
      - Excellent written and oral communication skills
      - Proficiency in various computer applications, including word processing and databases
      - U.S. Citizenship and completion of a 7 (or 10) year minimum background investigation

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with automated litigation support systems
      - Knowledge of standard legal citation systems for legal research
      - Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and produce written reports
      - Ability to analyze and present large volumes of data effectively
      - Prior experience in health-related legal support is advantageous
