What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage and oversee all aspects of discovery, including drafting and organizing requests and responses
- Prepare legal pleadings, motions, and other documents necessary for litigation proceedings
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and coordinating witnesses
- Maintain accurate billing records to meet the required annual billable hours
- Conduct research and gather documentation related to insurance defense cases

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must reside in California with experience in California civil law
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal, preferably in insurance defense
- Proven expertise in handling first and third-party insurance claims
- Proficiency in drafting and responding to discovery requests
- Experience in maintaining and meeting billable hour requirements (ABA-approved paralegal certificate required)

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with calendaring and court filing procedures
- Local candidates from San Diego or Walnut Creek will be given preference
