      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Manage and oversee all aspects of discovery, including drafting, responding to, and organizing discovery requests and responses
      - Prepare legal pleadings, motions, and other documents necessary for litigation proceedings
      - Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, coordinating witnesses, and ensuring readiness for court
      - Maintain accurate and detailed billing records to meet the required billable hours of 1650 annually
      - Conduct research and gather documentation related to insurance defense cases, including first and third-party claims

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Must reside in California and have experience with California civil law; preference for candidates local to San Diego or Walnut Creek
      - Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Litigation Paralegal, ideally in insurance defense or a similar practice area
      - Proven expertise in handling first and third-party insurance claims
      - Proficiency in drafting and responding to discovery requests
      - Strong knowledge of trial preparation processes, including organizing and managing trial materials

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in maintaining and meeting billable hour requirements (ABA-approved paralegal certificate required for billing purposes)
      - Familiarity with calendaring and court filing procedures
