      LMS Administrator

      Job Summary

      The Learning Management System Administrator (LMS Administrator) is the primary system Administrator for Noridian's LMS and provides leadership in the Administration, maintenance, and support of Noridian's Healthcare Solutions learning management system (LMS). This position is responsible for the support, design, development, implementation, delivery, and maintenance of content, assets, and other resources used for LMS instructional functions to support the learning needs of the organization. The LMS Administrator also supports Talent Development Business Partner consulting functions, content design, and development of the tools that support these efforts.

      Essential Functions

      Key Duties/Responsibilities/Accountabilities

      • Manges the day-to-day administration and performance of the Learning Management System (LMS) including infrastructure and functionality, appearance, settings, release management, feature evaluations, LMS configuration, creation of user groups and learning cohorts and trainer administrative functionality and end-user support.
      • Ensures LMS training content/ courses are always running properly within the various learning platforms- without interruption, quality degradation, and without experiencing any avoidable technical issues that could diminish the overall user experience.
      • Oversees and communicates all system updates, upgrades, integrated tools, and other software integrated within the learning management system and makes recommendations on future recommendations to content management, workflow processes, and user adoption.
      • Provides ongoing support for Talent Development Team and Team Trainers throughout the organization to ensure quality and platform functionality and provides troubleshooting assistance for resolving technical issues related to accessing the LMS and course content.
      • Acts as an internal trainer and consultant by working with departmental LMS training administrators and leaders analyzing data and recommending solutions to utilize the LMS to deliver, track training and competencies, compile/ publish reports, and measure performance to meet organizational objectives.
      • Manages relationship with the LMS vendor and IT as needed to resolve software/ technical issues as they arise within the Learning Management System (LMS). Serves as point of escalation for support issues, which may include interaction with LMS vendor and other vendor support services.
      • Develops and documents LMS processes or policies and guidelines as needed to establish consistent use of the system and meets all regulatory compliance needs.
      • Serves as a Talent Development Business Partner to specified departments to consult, collaborate and support departmental learning plans and customized training initiatives by introducing and reinforcing learning tools and concepts, as well as develops eLearning an instructor-led training according to departmental learning objectives.

      Minimum Qualifications

      • Bachelors' degree in Business, Communication, Human Resources, or Education OR equivalent work experience as determined by Human Resources
      • 2 years' relevant experience in Learning Management System Administration.
      • 2 years' relevant training experience as a trainer and content developer.
      • Must have worked with at-least one LMS organizational wide implementation or upgrade initiative.
      • Working knowledge of MS-Office Suite and content development tools such as, but not limited to, Captivate, Camtasia, Articulate, and LMS.
      • Possess fundamental project management skills and sound problem solving and critical thinking skills.
      • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to adapt training approach to varying audiences.
      • Strong planning, organizing, and execution skills.
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
      • Proficient in SharePoint knowledge.

      Preferred Qualifications

      Above requirements and the following:

      • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communication, Human Resources, or Education.
      • 3 years' relevant experience in Learning Management System Administration.
      • Project Manager for a LMS organizational wide systems implementation.
      • Experience with (on-premise) LMS 365.
      • Demonstrated knowledge of API and SCORM.
      • Experience with instructional or educational technology.

      Salary Range: $52,120 - $85,724

      Other Compensation: Self-Managed PTO (if applicable), Incentive Plan

      Lifestyle Benefit: $50/month
