- Manage equipment balances and chassis dwell time in an assigned market.
- Provide direction and feedback on load acceptance and appointment decisions to Customer Service.
- Keep company leadership informed of project priorities and any issues that may require their attention.
- Work with other department leaders to establish goals, align priorities and define departmental processes.
- Practice and observe safety rules and regulations and encourage others to do so at all times.
- Always conduct yourself in a manner that reflects a positive, professional image. Must maintain a professional appearance in accordance with dress code policies.

- High school diploma or GED required
- 4 year degree in related field preferred or equivalent on the job work experience.
- Transportation industry experience preferred.
- Industry used program knowledge preferred.
- Ability to work with office equipment, utilizing computers for majority of tasks and must be familiar with Microsoft Office suite of programs.
- Link system knowledge preferred
Overview
Job Title: Load Planner
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Location: SLC, UT
Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 annual

Position Summary:
The Intermodal Load planner will manage asset utilization to ensure high delivery of customer service and fleet profitability. The Load Planner will also manage freight acceptance, equipment maintenance, driver and dray planning processes. This role has the autonomy to run the area and make key cost decisions. Additionally, the Position assists, coaches, mentors individuals with all training and administrative items.
