      Position Summary

We are seeking a safety-conscious and dependable Load/Unloader to support our Paint Department. In this active, hands-on role, you will be responsible for loading and unloading metal parts onto the paint line while ensuring proper handling, alignment, and spacing to maintain quality finishes. Your work helps ensure that our components are coated accurately and efficiently, supporting high standards for our global customers.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Loading & Hanging: Carefully hang raw or pre-assembled metal parts on the paint line conveyor using hooks, racks, or hangers, ensuring correct positioning for optimal paint coverage.
      • Unloading & Inspection: Safely remove painted parts from the line after curing, inspecting for quality issues such as runs, missed spots, or damage.
      • Organization & Staging: Sort and organize finished parts according to job specifications and prepare them for the next step in the production process.
      • Documentation: Assist with basic tracking of part counts and job completion using labels, logs, or digital systems as required.
      • Material Handling: Use carts, dollies, or lifts to safely transport parts to and from the paint line.
      • Cleanliness & Prep: Wipe, mask, or otherwise prepare parts before loading to ensure cleanliness and readiness for coating.
      • Safety & Teamwork: Follow all safety protocols, wear required protective equipment, and communicate clearly with team members and supervisors to maintain a safe, efficient work area.

      What You Bring

      • Previous experience in a manufacturing or paint line environment preferred but not required.
      • Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
      • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks such as reaching, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
      • Familiarity with proper handling of painted or powder-coated materials is a plus.
      • Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic and punctuality.
      • Commitment to workplace safety and quality.
