      Responsible for timely review of workouts and loss mitigation applications, to ensure completeness and accuracy with applicable Regulatory / Investor guidelines and Mr. Cooper policy & procedures.

      **Must reside in the Dallas, Ft. Worth, TX area.

      • Validate loan files for completeness and accuracy, ensuring reviews are completed within regulatory timelines daily.
      • Performs loan level analysis, highly collaborative and capable of making independent decisions and proposals using information available.
      • Determining and documenting loan conditions and communicating requirements and/or decisions, and conveying results to investors for workout approval where applicable.
      • Maintains knowledge of all applicable underwriting guidelines by completing all underwriter training programs, learning any business unit policy and/or guidelines.
      • Analyzing credit documents, including, but not limited to, mortgage applications, credit history and income documents, title documents, appraisals and all applicable compliance documents.
      • Consistently applies sound judgment and solutions to customer applications, capable of communicating directly with peers, leadership, and other business units including SPOC.
      • Manual Frontline Underwriting of Conventional/Conforming loan products.
      • Identifies portfolio risks resulting from the client's underlying business practices, underwriting, and/or fraud exposure.
      • Ability to operate under strict deadlines and within short timeframes. Proven ability to manage time, priorities and resources to achieve goals.

      Roles & Responsibilities

      • Execute Service Transfer process for both inbound and outbound loans that Mr. Cooper acquires and sells.
      • Assemble and process loan level data from SharePoint site to determine HAMP eligibility and status.
      • Assist with all HAMP reporting cycles and associated research.
      • Complete Deal Set-Up process utilizing IR2, the HAMP Reporting Tool.
      • Draft AAA agreements and ensure timely execution by all parties including Mr. Cooper Management Exceptions.
      • Validate and provide concurrence status for inbound/outbound service transfers.
      • Interface with MHA and other external leadership to ensure accuracy of reporting.
      • Performing research for prior servicer documents in Remedy, FileNet, and servicer specific portals.
      • Examine escalated accounts for accuracy and oversee completion.
      • Work closely with customer relations, litigation, mod fulfillment, loss mitigation, collateral and underwriting departments to ensure accuracy on all high priority escalations.
      • Assist team with internal and external company audits as needed.
      • Responsible for a daily queue in Microsoft Excel and SharePoint.


      Core Requirements:

      • Must reside 60 miles from Lewisville, TX.
      • Onsite training at the Lake Vista IV office in Lewisville, TX, for 3 week as well as ongoing onsite training as needed, Required.
      • Graduation from a 4-year college or university with major course work in a discipline related to the requirements of the position is preferred. Will consider the equivalent combination of job experience & education that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of this job.
      • Proven professional email etiquette Required.
      • Intermediate MS Excel and Word skills Required.
      • Proficient with all MRC proprietary systems (LSAMS, Remedy, iAssist, etc) Required.
      • Familiarity with HSSN (FNMA) SMDU UI (FNMA), Government platforms, Deals Database (PLS) Required.
      • Minimum of 2-5 years of prior Underwriting, Loan level Root Cause Analysis, Regulatory & Investor Guidelines within Loss Mitigation experience Required.
