  This position is responsible for the remittance and reconciliation of MI and PMI ensuring timely and accurate payment and record keeping with all MI and PMI carriers. The role also supports the vendor oversight activities of the insurance vendor including responding to client and vendor inquiries.

  Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Remit payment to the PMI companies and maintain accurate records.
  • Remit payment to the MI agencies and maintain accurate records.
  • Retain all supporting documentation including monthly reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate system records specific to PMI and MI.
  • Monitor open items/exposures to ensure the insurance vendor is remitting renewal premiums timely and in accordance with guidelines.
  • Review of various reports internal and external to ensure insurance setup, disbursements, cancellations, and correspondence are processed timely and accurately.
  • Work with third party vendor to ensure proper processing of force placed insurance in the event borrower(s) fail to provide proof of coverage.
  • Request/monitor approvals to pay insurance on loans with disbursement stops.
  • Handle customer issues relates to insurance via phone calls or written correspondence.
  • Review flood policies to ensure they meet investor and regulatory requirements.
  • Resolve information gaps by contacting carriers and agencies as required to gather policy information and other missing data and update systems as appropriate.
  • Create and/or modify insurance related written policies and procedures as needed.
  • Provide support to Loss Draft associates.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Provide a “WOW” experience and effectively communicate with associates, clients, partners, and vendors via phone, written communication and/or in person.
  • Seek Feedback: Host regular and timely communication with associates and Manager.
  • Be willing to assume additional responsibilities/duties/projects as they arise.
  • Have strong organization skills, the ability to learn quickly, and accuracy/timeliness in completing tasks.
  • Perform all actions in accordance with policies and procedures of the company.
  • Expected to meet productivity guidelines of the position.
  • Effectively use software specific for the position and Microsoft office products.
  • Work well with other members of the EHL team and be willing to fill in when needed.

  Specific Skills/ Knowledge/ Abilities Required for Position:

  • High school diploma or one year certificate from in a related field from an accredited institution .
  • 1-3 years prior experience with MI, PMI, Hazard Insurance and loss drafts as well as vendor oversight, required/preferred.
  • Black Knight MSP/ICE experience preferred.
  • FHA, VA, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac loan servicing experience, preferred.
  • Intermediate skills in computer operation including word processing, excel spreadsheet and specialty software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.) programs.
  • Exercise good judgment and strong character, motivated, hard working.
  • Ability to work well with fellow associates, clients and vendors.
  • Good communication skills. Neat, clean, healthy work habits.

  Physical Requirements:

  • Requires all forms of dexterity and mobility throughout the shift, which may include extended periods of sitting and/or standing. Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, twist, climb or balance, stoop, kneel crouch or crawl.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be able to speak and hear, lift and carry up to twenty-five pounds (25 lbs.) or occasionally more.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, occasionally noisy environment.
  • May be required to drive for business purposes and if so, must hold a driver’s license in good standing and maintain personal auto insurance in compliance with EHL’s Auto Insurance policy.

  Compensation:

  The base hourly range for this position is $13.12 - $23.80 per hour/per year, depending on a number of factors including location and experience.

  Benefits and Perks:
