      Forward Bank is seeking a full-time Loan Servicing Specialist to join our Loan Operations team. This position plays a key role in the post-closing process of consumer and mortgage loans, ensuring the accurate and timely finalization of loan files.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Complete system checkbacks for newly booked loans to verify accuracy.
      • Submit and follow up on lien requests (mortgages, UCCs, and titles) to ensure timely recording and satisfaction.
      • Monitor lien perfection and manage ticklers for UCC continuations, recorded mortgages, and title policies.
      • Process loan transactions including payments, reversals, advances, autopay setup, payoffs, and escrow disbursements.
      • Handle PMI cancellations, partial releases, flood determinations, and flood monitoring.
      • Respond to internal and external servicing inquiries, including payoff requests, lien releases, and corrections.
      • Support investor servicing for mortgage loans (e.g., PMI removal, loan-level updates, Fannie/MPF prep).
      • Perform document imaging and indexing for lien releases, satisfactions, and other servicing documentation.
      • Support escrow servicing tasks including disbursing property taxes, completing annual escrow analysis, and managing tax exceptions.
      • Participate in a rotating task structure to support cross-training, workload balance, and team coverage.

      Qualifications:

      • High school diploma or GED required; additional bank-related training preferred.
      • 1-2 years of related experience in loan servicing, operations, or post-closing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
      • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
      • Ability to work independently while maintaining high accuracy.
