      Job summary

      The Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust (WAST) is looking for a highly professional, motivated, and reliable individual to undertake administrative and secretarial duties to support the Emergency Services Management team

      This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced and changing environment providing professional administrative support and resolving day-to-day challenges.

      Main duties of the job

      You will be needed to provide effective and efficient administrative and secretarial support, you will need to have an extensive knowledge of administrative procedures, the ability to use your own initiative to prioritise a varied workload. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as good organisational and time management qualities.

      You will be expected to appropriately manage confidential, complex, and sensitive information, exercising discretion, and always upholding high professional and ethical standards.

      There are 2 positions available the base stations are Newport Ambulance station and Bargoed Ambulance Station. The role will be working Monday to Friday each week.

      The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
