Job Description
- Req#: 9135
- Test the localized product, report bugs using industry-standard tools and work with product developers to debug issues
- Develop and deploy automated test solutions
- Effectively make use of the various localization development tools used in the group
- Provide internationalization advice and evangelize localization-friendly processes among product developers and managers
- B.S. or above in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or comparable degree
- Outstanding English communication skills
- Basic knowledge of a major high-level programming language
- Experience in software localization (development or testing) or software testing
- Good understanding of computer architecture
- Experience with software development processes
- Basic knowledge of internationalization rules and character encodings in software design
- Knowledge of NI software and hardware
Localization QA Engineer
Localization QA Engineers are responsible for the testing of NI’s localized software products and systems to ensure technical integrity. They achieve this by both performing manual testing and by deploying automated test systems.
The assets to test include, but are not limited to, the user interface, product documentation, UI layout correctness, and product functionality.
