We are benefitting from an extensive new build in the emergency department and are working with our system partners to develop integrated patient pathways. We are seeking clinicians who can help shape the future of Acute and Same Day Emergency Care pathways contributing to our emerging clinical strategy.

      • Possible annualised job planning
      • Time for internal and external teaching
      • Supporting your clinical interests
      • Standard study leave budget of £1000 per year

      Main duties of the job

Our acute medical services are supported by a co-located Urgent Treatment Centre, NHS 111 walk-in and a Same Day Emergency Care Unit. These are highly motivated and focused departments, which pride themselves on delivering the highest standards of safe patient care. Clinical governance is central to all that we do; ensuring that patient care, safety and quality are the highest priority.

  • About the company

National Health Service (NHS) is the umbrella term for the publicly-funded healthcare systems of the United Kingdom (UK). The founding principles were that services should be comprehensive, universal and free at the point of delivery—a health service based on clinical need, not ability to pay. Each service provides a comprehensive range of health services, free at the point of use for people ordinarily resident in the United Kingdom apart from dental treatment and optical care.
