      Job summary

      Are you a Consultant Neurophysiologist looking for a dynamic and supportive environment to continue your clinical journey?

      We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Consultant Neurophysiologist to join our friendly and high-performing team on a 12-month fixed term maternity cover contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a well-established department, with access to modern facilities and a strong multidisciplinary network across the region.

      Main duties of the job

      You'll be involved in delivering and developing a wide range of neurophysiological services, including EEG, EMG/NCS, and evoked potentials. There is no on-call commitment, and you'll benefit from flexible job planning, strong links with neurology and neurosurgery services, and opportunities for teaching and service development.

      • Full registration and a license to practice with the GMC
      • Entry on the GMC Specialist Register for Neurophysiology (or relevant specialty) via CCT or Porfolio Pathway
      • MBBS or equivalent
      • MRCP
      • Specialty exam in Neurophysiology

      Desirable

      • Educational Supervisor qualification
      • Teaching/Education Qualification

      Experience

      Essential

      • Out of programme management experience (e.g. secondment)
      • Wide experience of Neurophysiology
      • Significant evidence of experience in clinical leadership
