Job Description

Patient Consultations: Conduct face-to-face and telephone consultations with patients, providing high-quality care in a timely and efficient manner.

Clinical Work: Diagnose and treat medical conditions, prescribe medications, and provide advice to patients on health management.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with our multidisciplinary team, including nurses, Nursing student, and administrative staff, to ensure a smooth workflow.

Patient Records: Maintain accurate patient records using our clinical system, EMIS Web, ensuring all patient interactions are documented appropriately.

Additional Duties: Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement in patient care.
- Awareness of and compliance with all relevant Practice policies/guidelines, e.g. prescribing, confidentiality, data protection, health and safety
- A commitment to learning and audit to ensure evidence-based best practice
- Contributing to evaluation/audit and clinical standard setting within the organisation
- Contributing to the development of computer-based patient records
- Attending training and events organised by the Practice or other agencies, where appropriate.

We are seeking a Locum GP to join our friendly team at Crawley Rd Medical Centre based in Leyton. As a Locum GP you will play a vital role in providing excellent medical care to our patients whilst working with a great supportive and collaborative team.

We are a well-established, CQC grade: Good. Serving a patient list of >10K patients. Our team includes experienced GPs, practice nurses, and a range of support staff working in a supportive, well-organised environment. Our practice uses EMIS Web and offers a range of services, including but not limited to, chronic disease management, family planning, minor surgery. Crawley Road Medical Practice is based in E10, right in the heart of multiculturalism and diversity. We are passionate about patient led care and delivering a high standard of service to our patients. We have been a long standing service in this community with strong connections with our patient population.
