Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Medical Summarising team in an innovative, award winning Practice situated in East London.
We are a busy practice in Forest Gate, London. We are looking for a locum medical summariser who is passionate about providing high quality care.
You will be a valued member of a primary care team of 16 Doctors, 3 Practice Nurses, 3 HCAs and 2 Summarisers.
Main duties of the job
The main responsibilities of the post-holder will be to summarise and Read Code relevant information from patients clinical records into the Practice computer system, working strictly in accordance with the Practice notes summarising protocol.

We are based in a spacious converted bank, which has had several extensions to provide a comfortable and modern clinical environment. There are excellent transport links and we are close to the Olympic Park and Westfield shopping Centre.

As a result we have been recipients of several national awards such as the RCGPs best clinical innovation, and Pulse magazine's diabetic clinical team of the year, runner-up and finalist for best vaccination service GP Awards.
We have a strong ethos of teaching and training and have between 3 -5 GP Registrar's and regular medical students. We have trained Nurse Practitioners, Practice nurses and Independent prescriber Pharmacists.
