      Lodging Coordinator, Christina Lake, Conklin, AB(Contract Role)

      Reporting to the Lodging & Logistics Lead the successful candidate will coordinate operations of all MEG Energy permanent and temporary camps, as well as site janitorial. The Lodging Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that Lodging operates in accordance with MEG Energy’s Policies and Procedures. You will ensure Lodging and Site Janitorial operate efficiently and effectively while providing a high quality of service for Lodging guests, office and building occupants, and all stakeholders. The Lodging Coordinator will facilitate continuous Lodging and Site Janitorial operational improvements and promote a strong safety culture.

      **Please note, this is a 12-month contract position with compensation as a straight hourly rate**

      Your day-to-day will include:

      • Responsible for championing strategic Lodging operational initiatives
      • Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the contractor Lodging and Site Janitorial teams
      • Responsible for reporting and managing Lodging operational statistics including room/food requirements, safety, maintenance & other key indicators
        • Enforce a standard of excellence regarding operations, cleanliness, and food quality
      • Conduct regular camp and site janitorial inspections and audits
      • Assist the Logistics Coordinator with flight check in and other duties as required
      • Assist social committee where required when activities take place
        • Handle, follow up, and track all Communication Forms and Maintenance Requests
      • Maintain effective relationships with internal and external business partners
      • Ensure contractors comply with MEG’s standards, expectations, AHS & other regulatory guidelines
      • Participate/support in strategic Lodging operational initiatives
      • Ensure efficient processes and practices are in place & regularly monitor for compliance. Initiate enhancements where appropriate
      • Liaise with EH&S to ensure safe work environment standards are in place and operating effectively
      • Liaise with Security to be informed of any occurrences related to Lodging

      What you will bring to MEG:

      • 3-5 years’ Camp operations experience with demonstrated ability to lead outcomes and initiatives
      • Knowledge of OH&S, AHS and other applicable regulations and codes is essential
      • Strong leadership, interpersonal, networking, negotiation and diplomacy skills
      • Strong judgement and discretionary skills in both formal and informal communication
      • Excellent analytical, project/time management and organizational skills
      • Strong facilitation skills effective at achieving alignment among multi-disciplined work groups at all organizational levels
      • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
      • Ability to work independently, multi-task, and manage competing priorities. effectively in a changing environment and within defined timelines
      • Desire to drive continuous improvement; with strong attention to detail
      • Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
      • Experience with Orissa and/or CIRYS is an asset
      • Requirements: Food Safe Level 1, and H2S Alive
      • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
